I'm working in the area and I stumbled upon this place. They have great food and friendly service. I've almost tried everything on the menu! Very tasty and reasonably priced.

Cuban sandwich was good, a bit heavy on the mayo and mustard. Chicken soup was okay. Name of the place is a bit of a hype lol.

Staff was so accommodating, drinks were great, and so was the food. Place was clean and prices were reasonable.

I came from Houston to Orlando for a few days on vacation and we came to this restaurant. We have ran out of words when we want to express the rich flavor of this food, what a welcoming place not only for the Cuban and Hispanic community but for Americans as well. What a beautiful place, what a beautiful family atmosphere and what a delicious food. I recommend this place: Lo Mejor del Mundo / Cuban Cafe

Update: Another great visit. This time I asked them to add maduros to the Cuban. (no mayo). They gladly obliged. Straightforward, old school, no-frills Cuban food in a cafe that is always filled will a local loyal following. Is the kind of family-owned restaurant you want to see succeed for decades. Humble people putting out consistent high quality food at great prices. It's the type of food that doesn't need a Michelin star to prove its value. I've never had a bad meal here. The staff is efficient and friendly. It's a type of place you keep coming back to again and again. The Cuban sandwich is always perfectly crisp with just the right proportions of meat, cheese, mustard, and pickle. And it goes down all the better with a cortadito. Enjoy.

I personally love mom n pops restaurants and if you’re in the area , you should try this one. Cute and small but the food is made fresh and tasty. I got a tripleta sandwich (freshly pressed) filled plus a big portion. I also got a papaya batido that was rather tasty! Would come back !!

Always a good stop! I have had their cuban coffee, their fried tilapia with congris (white rice with black beans), pastries, mango smoothie and ropa vieja. Lately, my go to has been authentic from scratch chicken soup! Tasty food, good ingredients and nice and friendly family running their business!
